Deniz Baloglu
Deniz Baloglu is a parent educator focusing on identifying and supporting childhood giftedness and
twice-exceptionality. She is a trained SMPG facilitator for Social-Emotional Needs for Gifted (SENG),
serves as a board member of the California Association for the Gifted (CAG), and on the Parent Content
& Advisory Board for National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC). She received a Professional
Academic Certificate in Twice Exceptional Education at Bridges Graduate School of Cognitive Diversity in
Education.
Deniz supports families looking to meet their gifted and twice-exceptional (2e) children's educational
and social-emotional needs. She provides services for gifted children and their families through
consultations, educational advocacy, parent groups, workshops, and social-emotional learning
opportunities. She also offers virtual parent coaching support, a collaborative approach that helps
parents develop tools and best practices for their child's unique needs.
She lives with her family in the Bay Area. Previously, Deniz was a National Turkish Chess Youth Team
member and worked as a Data Analyst in Turkey.
